30" x 48" Silk Painting mounted on canvas, pearl painted edge.
 
Carvers White Magnolia inspired by early summer in Fernandina Beach. This silk painting started with white Habotai silk from Thailand, a light design was penciled in and then it was painted with French Dyes. The painted silk was then steam set for 2 hours and then mounted to canvas using an archival quality clear sealer.
 
Location: This artwork is online only but can be viewed by appointment at the Plantation Artists Guild and Gallery.
